The 2025/26 Premier League will kick off this weekend, with 20-time winners Liverpool trading tackles with Bournemouth on Friday night, August 15 


Liverpool begin their title defense against Bournemouth in their opening match of the 2025/26 English Premier League season.

Leeds United and Burnley gained automatic promotion from the Championship, while Sunderland beat Sheffield United in the play-off final to secure the third spot. On Saturday, August 16, the action is set to pick up already.

Aston Villa will take on Newcastle, Brighton and Hove Albion tackles Fulham, Sunderland faces West Ham United, and UEFA Europa League winners Tottenham Hotspur meet Burnley, while former champions Manchester City will face Wolverhampton Wanderers.
