X hit by global outage, millions unable to access platform

  Microblogging platform X has suffered widespread outage, leaving millions of users across multiple countries unable to access tweets.   The disruption began with users in the UK initially reporting issues. Then, in Nigeria, after 1pm, Nigerians also noticed issues accessing X.   In the United States, over 42,000 users flagged similar problems, while more than 45,000 outage reports were recorded in Japan. Users in Canada, Australia, France and Germany also reported difficulties.   Many users said the website became stuck on the X logo or displayed an error message reading: “Something went wrong. Keke Palmer has revealed that she is as£xual and has no interest in any man or woman.   The actress/singer made this known in a post-Valentine's day message.   She shared new photos after Valentine's Day and asked fans how they spent their Valentine's Day while reflecting on hers.   She wrote: "Chile, let’s talk about it.   The Lagos State Government has clarified that the recent judgment of the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division, on Vehicle Inspection Service (VIS) operations does not invalidate enforcement activities in Lagos.   In a statement released, the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General, Lawal Pedro, said viral interpretations suggesting that the appellate court ruling applies across Nigeria are misleading. The clarification followed a judgment of the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division, which upheld an earlier decision of the Federal High Court restraining Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIO) and the Directorate of Road Traffic Services in the Federal Capital Territory from stopping motorists, impounding vehicles, or imposing fines.   Pedro, in his statement, maintained that the courts based their decision on the absence of statutory powers authorising VIO officials in the FCT to carry out such enforcement actions.   “It is important to understand that the Honourable Judge of...

  Three persons have been confirmed d3ad following a mining pit collapse at Enyim Agalegu Community in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.     The incident was said to have occurred on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at a pit under the mining lease of First Patriots Limited, formerly known as Royal Salt, where illegal mining activities were allegedly ongoing. Man caught ‘plucking armpit hair’ and placing it on food to get free meal

  A high-end steak restaurant in Sydney has released CCTV footage that appears to show a diner placing an armpit hair on his meal before complaining about it. Pony Dining, located in The Rocks, alleged that a family of six demanded a refund after claiming they had found a hair in their food on Wednesday night. The group then reportedly attempted to leave without paying for their meal. The CCTV clip shared by the restaurant appears to show a man in a white polo shirt looking around before reaching into his armpit and pulling out strands of hair, which he then appears to place on his plate. “We don’t usually share content like this,” the restaurant wrote alongside the footage. “This footage shows an incident which occurred in our venue. After the meal was served, the guest later raised a complaint regarding a hair in their meal and declined payment for all the food.
