Nigerian Governor Dissolves Cabinet, Sacks 19 Commissioners

  •  In a major cabinet reshuffle, the governor of Ekiti state, Biodun Oyebanji, has dismissed 19 commissioners from their positions in his administration.
  •  In a twist, Governor Oyebanji also directed the affected commissioners and special advisers to hand over to the permanent secretary or the most senior civil servant in their respective MDAs

‎‎The secretary to the state government, Prof. Habibat Adubiaro, announced the dissolution in a statement issued on Sunday night, August 10. 

‎The affected commissioners and special advisers are to hand over to the permanent secretary or the most senior civil servant in their respective MDAs. 
 

‎Oyebanji thanked the outgoing members of the State Executive Council and wished them success in their future endeavours.
